The TDA Effect

Your life's success comes down to three basic words:

THOUGHT — DECISION — ATTITUDE

These three factors not only effect your health, wealth, prosperity, and relationships, but the things that you desire ... the things you want for yourself in your life.

IT ALL STARTS WITH THOUGHT.

We have the power to direct the process of thought – what we want to think, how we want to think and what subject we want to think about. Whatever you think is exactly what comes into reality. There is no deviation from this principle.

EXERCISE #1: TRACK YOUR THOUGHTS

Over the next two days (48 hours), carry a small notebook with you and record your thoughts. Seriously! Make a point of noticing your thoughts and jotting them down without any editing or clean up. Then, transfer those notes here to keep them as a record. We’ll also be referring to them in a subsequent exercise.

EXERCISE #2: NEW DISCOVERIES

At the end of Day #2, ask yourself this: What did I discover about myself that I wasn't necessarily conscious of until this exercise? What am I going to change?

EXERCISE #3: CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS

Now that you’ve completed your 48-hour exercise, look back over what you’ve written and note any thoughts that are not positive-minded or supportive of your growth or the growth of others around you. Then, in the space below, write out the exact opposite of these negative thoughts — in present tense as if you were thinking THEM instead of the negatives you first thought.

These, then, become your "triggers." When you catch yourself thinking the negative, make an instant switch in your mind to the positive commentary you’ve written here".

THOUGHT ALONE WILL NOT BRING THE RESULTS.

If it was that easy, we could all just think positively and ... Presto! ... Changes would begin to occur. It doesn’t work that way. What are the other crucial ingredients? Decision and Attitude.

DECISION to act on your thought with a confident and winning attitude will bring the results you seek. Many people have dreams. Many people have thoughts. Many people want something in life, but they never get it because they’re missing the powerful decision-making, action-related, purposeful cycle ... the TDA Effect.

You already have the plans in place in this workbook. Now that you’ve started the process, create real passion around seeing that end result. Then make a decision that these results will be yours and ACT. Someone once said, “Good plans shape good decisions.” Once you have begun the thinking process, fall in love with your thoughts. Create real passion for your end result. Then make a decision — make it quickly — and act.

It's ALL ABOUT ATTITUDE.

What is your attitude? Do you have a good one or do you have a bad one? Have you ever tried to consciously change your attitude?

THE ATTITUDE IS A COMBINATION OF THREE THINGS:

  1. How you think.
  2. Based on this thought process, you create feelings.
  3. Based on this feeling, you create attitude and act accordingly.

EXERCISE #1: HOW YOUR THOUGHTS SHAPE YOUR ATTITUDE

In the audio, I mentioned an example of your hypothetical Aunt Anna coming to visit you. Her pending visit creates thoughts in your head that constitute your attitude upon seeing her.

Given that example, when, in the last few days, have you let your thoughts shape your attitude positively about a situation or person?

When, in the last few days have you let your thoughts shape your attitude negatively about a situation or person?

As you look forward to the days ahead, you already know of a situation or person coming into your life with some impact. How can you decide right now to form a positive attitude about that event?

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS

It’s a very simple formula, isn’t it? Create the thoughts and emotionalize the feelings around those thoughts. Attitude will occur as a result of these feelings. These feelings, meanwhile, are sending a vibratory message to the universe to which the universe responds with similar vibratory energy. A negative energy will bring more negativity. A positive energy will bring positive energy. It’s an experiment you can do again and again and again and it will never falter of fail from this truth. It’s your choice, then, to decide.
